After a night in a tent squished between Gaia, with her sleep talking, and Heather, lying on me I got to wake up really early and start my second day as leader. My first responsibility was to give the rest of the group their wake up call. Day 12 – Friday 22nd July 2011
Today was quite interesting. It was our last day at our project accommodation and everybody was feeling quite down. Firstly, we had to wake up and pack all our things away into our suitcases in order to be ready for 9.30. After we packed, we made breakfast and cleaned up the rooms and kitchen. The bus was a bit late, but at 10.30 we were ready to leave for the slave castle in Cape Coast.

Day 11- July 21st ‘Last day at the nursery’
Woke up at 6 and started on breakfast as per usual and then loaded up the bus to go to the nursery. We arrived and all the children were all hyped for the new playground and they kept running around the building now quoting the freshly painted alphabet. It’s good to see it’s appreciated already.
