Please take the time to read the attached leaflet which gives details of the second Parenting Course that Swanshurst has supported. It is different from the first one in that parents from local primaries as well as other secondary schools in our area will be invited to attend.

You are probably aware that whilst there is a huge amount of advice on offer for new parents with young children it is rarely available to parents of teenagers! This course provides an excellent opportunity for you to share your experience as well as gain helpful information and ideas from others.

Please do not be put off because the course venue is the New Billesley Pub which is opposite our school entrance - many of our parents use the car park when picking up their daughters. Leading from the car park is a rear entrance and this leads straight to the function room where the sessions take place, thus avoiding the need to walk through the actual bar area.

Each session starts with a free lunch and this will give you an opportunity to meet and chat with other parents. If you can afford the time why not start off by attending the first session on the 27th January and then decide if the course is for you?
