How to Apply

Year 11 Progression Process

Stage 1: Research
Use the Sixth Form Virtual Open Evening Event pages to identify the subjects that you are interested in studying in the Sixth Form. Use Firefly, Careers section, for any help with what subjects are required for certain careers.

Complete and return your progression form to your form Tutor. (This was done in form time in October!)

Stage 2: Visit the 6th Form Virtual Open Evening website
Make sure you have seen everything!

Stage 3: Year 11 Progression Interviews
Attend your 1:1 interview on Teams on the date & time given. This will be for all students, regardless of pathway.

Stage 4: Discuss your course choices with subject teachers.

Stage 5: Induction Day
You will be invited to an induction day with all other prospective year 12 students.

Stage 6:
Just when you thought you could have a rest…. You will be given a range of activities to complete during the summer to support you in making a smooth transition to your Sixth Form courses.
