If your ambition is to pursue a career in computing and information communication technologies (ICT), then this course will give you just the start you need.
This course gives you the opportunities to learn and practise your ICT skills by developing systems using software that you will find in the work place and University! You will focus on spreadsheets, databases and presenting this information in a suitable format i.e. a webs page, report or presentation.

Course Progression |
Pupils who chose this subject have gone on to study either BTEC Level 3 Certificate in IT, Digital Media or A Level Computing all of which are available at Swanshurst Sixth Form.
These pathways offer highly demanding and exciting opportunities which would enable you to study ICT or Computer Science further at a degree level at University. You could also progress to study a more technical course such as networking, programming or choose to obtain an apprenticeship . |
