< Back to Subjects You Can Choose

The literature curriculum includes plays, novels and poetry from the English cannon from the Jacobean era up to modern day. Pupils are asked to look at how the writer’s use their craft to explore and comment on issues that are relevant and topical today. The course is assessed by two written exams at the end of the GCSE course.
