Student Leadership

Within the first half term in Swanshurst Sixth Form, a Head Student and Deputy Head Student are elected from year 12. The elction process is carried out democratically, by all pupils and staff members after 2 weeks of campaigning.

Throughout the year that they are in position, the head students play an active role in decision making at Swanshurst, attending senior leadership and governors’ meetings, as well as representing all of the students within the school and sixth form. They regularly present to parents, staff and students and represent and oversee all student leaders.
