AQA Triple Science courses identify the activities and experiences students will come across in everyday life, and links these to scientific ideas and their implications for society. It provides the opportunity to acquire the scientific skills, knowledge and understanding necessary for life as a citizen.

Triple Science covers the same modules as the combined science trilogy course but just in a little more depth, (with one extra topic, space physics). These include some of the following topics:

Assessment |
This is the structure for biology, chemistry and physics. There is no coursework element to this course.

Course Progression |
This course allows you to progress onto A Levels in biology, chemistry, physics and psychology in Swanshurst Sixth Form. To follow one or more of these courses you must achieve a grade 5 in the subject of their choice at GCSE or grade 5 in the combined science trilogy course.
For students who do not achieve a grade 5, progression would be to one of the Level 3 BTEC courses here at Swanshurst Sixth Form.
