Winter Wonderland Concert 2024

 

The Performing Arts and Physical Education (Dance) departments came together on Wednesday 4th December to host the annual Winter Wonderland Concert for 2024. Featuring an hour of captivating performances in music, drama, and dance, this year’s event brought together over 90 talented students to dazzle the audience.

With support from 12 dedicated Music Ambassadors managing front of house and stage operations, the evening was presented by Zarah H. and Martha C. (Year 11) who guided the audience through a delightful programme of festive and emotional pieces:

• Jingle Bell Rock – Alex H. and Ava C.

• Underneath the Tree – Year 10 Dance Group

• Cinderella – KS3 Drama Group

• Fight Song – Sana A.

• Santa Claus is Coming to Town – Violin Group

• Make You Feel My Love / Silent Night – Clarinet Group

• Almost There – Elizabeth C.

• Yellow – Ms F's Singing Club

• When a Child is Born / Walking in the Air – Flute Group

• Somewhere Only We Know – Dance Squad

• Snow is Falling – Ms D's Singing Group

• Fairytale of New York – Isabel G. A.

• I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day – Orchestra

Beyond the performances, we were taking donations in aid of raising funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Thanks to generous donations from families, a total of £291.73 was collected!
