Yr 12 Particle Physics Masterclass, University of Birmingham

The Science Department is organising a visit for Year 12 students to University of Birmingham on Wednesday 6^th November to attend a Particle Physics Masterclass.

The purpose of the visit is to give students an understanding of particle physics.

Students will need to make their own way to the event and therefore will need money to access public transport. They will leave Swanshurst School at 10.45 am. If you wish, you can collect your daughter from school and take her to University of Birmingham yourself. Please indicate on the reply slip your chosen method of transport. Students should meet Mr Davidson at the Clock Tower at 12.45 pm. Students will need to arrange transportation home at 3.00pm when the event ends.

Students should bring a packed lunch. If your daughter is entitled to Free School Meals and you have provided the necessary evidence to the main office, please indicate on the attached slip, she will then be entitled to a packed lunch from the school canteen.

There is no cost attached to this visit.
