Studybugs Attendance Communication System (11th September)

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting strong attendance and improving communication with families, we will be using Studybugs to help manage attendance information and communications with parents and carers.
Studybugs is a secure, supportive attendance platform that enables schools and families to work together to support pupils in attending school regularly and punctually. Through this system, attendance and punctuality notifications will be sent directly to parents and carers, helping to keep families informed and up to date.
You are not currently required to download the Studybugs app. However, this is something that we may revisit at a later date. As long as the school has your correct and up-to-date email address recorded on our system, you will continue to receive attendance communications and notifications.
The Studybugs platform will be used to:
- Communicate attendance and punctuality information.
- Send attendance-related notifications and updates.
- Help families understand patterns of attendance and support improvements where needed.
- Strengthen communication between home and school regarding attendance concerns.
We ask all parents and carers to ensure that their contact details, particularly their email address, are current and accurate. If you need to update your details, please contact the school office.
Attendance plays a vital role in every child's educational success. Studybugs is intended as a supportive tool to help families and the schoolwork together to promote positive attendance habits and ensure pupils can make the most of their educational opportunities.
